       My 10 yr old fridge stopped working so I called to request a service call & they came out within hrs.   Bad news on fridge as it needed a new compressor so it just wasnt worth fixing.
I was very happy with their service & honesty in telling me that due to the age, my old fridge wasnt worth the cost to repair.
The rep that booked my call told me I could pay by cash, etransfer, or by credit card for which there would  be 4% added to overall cost. When it came time to pay for the servicecall (which was reasonable)  their
service tech refused to accept a cash payment.
I had to pay by etransfer which is not something I would normally do, but I will not pay a surcharge in order to use my credit card.
As a business owner, I have never charged a customer a surcharge to use debit or credit cards. Its a cost of doing business that should be paid by the business & it shouldnt be passed off to the customer to cover.
